When the Saint Curé d’Ars Chapel in Paris commissioned some work, Louis Derbré sculpted several blocks of granite, including a sculpture of Saint Ignace of Loyola. This portrait was one of the sculptures that was featured in the catalogue of the ‘Rodin-Maillol-Derbré’ exhibition in 1962.
