Construction, Tolérance, Joie, Avenir, Courage, Espoir: six statues make up the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, standing at the centre of the 40-hectare cemetary-park in Oasa, near Hiroshima (Japan). This memorial was commissioned by Soka Gakkai International and inaugurated on 6 June 1997 in the presence of VIPs from the Hiroshima area.
