Les Adolescents, in Carrara marble, was exhibited at the Artcurial Gallery in 1985, along with Le Chat, L'Effraie, La Gorge, L'Aile, etc. Before then, a previous version of this work in polished bronze was created for the first time in 1976 for the ‘Derbre ou les corps vivants’ [‘Derbre, or Living Forms’] exhibition at the Artcurial Gallery in Paris. Another version was produced in 1978 for the city of Athens.
